Description
This 1/19 scale kit of a simple wooden coaling stage as often seen on narrow gauge or light railways. Note the modeler is free to place the shelter and the steps wherever they prefer.

Plywood Construction
The main structural parts of the platform are laser cut from 6mm poplar plywood to give greater strength. The simple shelter is made from two layers of 3mm plywood for greater strength and to allow engraved planking on both inside and outside surfaces.
High Impact Polystyrene Roof
The pre-curved roof overlay is vacuum formed HIPS sheet which has the virtue of being completely rain proof.
Note: If the modeler intends to leave this building out between running sessions then we highly recommend thoroughly varnishing or painting this structure together with the use of a waterproof PVA adhesive (neither of which is not included in this kit).
