Further Component Supply Problems

Unfortunately the factory that makes the drive chain we use in our locomotives was flooded ( with water, not orders!) last year and still hasn’t resumed production. We did manage to obtain one further delivery ( presumably someone found some in the back of the stock room) but this has now been exhausted.

As a result we are having to withdraw all our locomotives and chassis that use this chain. All new locomotives are being designed to use rubber drive belts or coupling rods.

New versions of the Ruston 44hp and Midlander are available now.

A new version of the Greenbat chassis should be available beginning of October, and the new Darjeeling class one locomotive uses coupling rods

We have been able to obtain a small quantity of the drive chain and so have but some of the locomotives back on sale. We understand that the factory is back in production but the UK sole importer has yet to receive any supplies
