Description
Ransomes and Rapier of Ipswich first manufactured narrow gauge diesel locomotives in 1932 using 2 and 3 cylinder Ailsa Craig engines. Unfortunately records prior to 1934 have been lost but it appears that about 100 of these locomotives were built up to the end of 1939. The model is based on a 3-cylinder (26hp) example.
Our Ransomes and Rapier locomotive features four wheel drive chain drive, steel wheels and a choice of control options. We are selling this model locomotive model in 32 mm only.
Locomotives are built to order. Delivery is 4 to 8 weeks.
