Robert Hudson Limited supplied a range of small diesel locomotives built by Hunslet, marketed for “contractors, quarries, mines and estates. This model is based on the 40 horse power version.
Hunslet supplied these locomotives with a simple open cab however it appears that many owners fitted their own windows. We can also can fit cab windows for an extra £10. Click here for an example.
Our model locomotive features four wheel drive from a 9 volt motor, brass worm and pinion and nitrile rubber belt drive.
This model locomotive is gauge adjustable so is suitable for both 32 mm and 45 mm gauges.
A kit of this loco will be available early November.
Ready To Run, manual control
Price £245. Manual control (simple forward : off : reverse : switch) with 7 volt Lipo battery and charger included.
Ready To Run, Micron radio control
Price £345. As above but fitted with a Micron 2.4 ghz receiver/speed controller and supplied with a simple, “centre off” transmitter. 7 volt Lipo battery and charger included.
Ready To Run, Micron radio control and sound card
Price £440. As above but fitted with a Micron Mini sound module with the “light industrial” firmware. 7 volt Lipo battery and charger included.
