Utilising the same “Select Laser Sintering” 3D printing process used by many of our rolling stock kits, we can now offer customised station boards for your garden railway. The boards are printed in a white engineering grade nylon which should prove totally weather proof and we can offer a variety of type faces .
The lettering is raised from the back board by 2mm so the modeller should find little difficulty in painting around the letters. That said one customer simply paint the whole board his background colour and then lightly sanded the letters “back to white”. We size the boards to fit your required name and will adjust the typeface size of the various lines to make a pleasing fit and using block capitals only. They usually work out at about 3 cm tall and 12 cm wide. If you would like to order something slightly different than one of our standard boards then please email info@bolelasercraft.com your requirements (station name, typeface and whether single or double sided) and we’ll take it from there.
Also included are two square posts with “post caps” and round locating plugs to fit into 6mm diameter holes in you plaftform.
Prices start at £15 per board (single sided). Double sided boards (i.e. name on both sides) suitable for island platforms start at £18. Postage and packing is charged at our usual “standard rate”
Please note to keep prices competitive we “lump” these customised orders in with our usually monthly orders to our 3D printing service so delivery on these orders is usually 4-8 weeks.
