Description
These are the quality steel wheel sets (four wheels on two axles) that we supply in our 7/8 scale “skip chassis” kits.
Precision Machined
These wheels are precision CNC machined in England to give a smooth and reliable ride to your 7/8 scale rolling stock. They have 3 mm journals and our new “7/8 profiled” treads and flanges.
Insulated
Each wheel is mounted onto the axle via a precision machined nylon bush to provide an insulated wheel set if you use track power.

Please note these are steel and not stainless steel wheels. Whilst this allows better paint adhesion if you choose to paint them, they will gain a fine layer of rust if you pack them away for the winter while still damp. If you don’t like an authentic rusty look we suggest you give them an occasional squirt of oil !
